The garden's swimming pond was a great way to unwind after hiking, and the mountain views each morning were breathtaking. Inside, the apartment had everything we needed, including what our dog Bica needed, and we could properly relax there. Gabi and Meli made us feel welcome right away. They were easy to communicate with and always happy to answer questions or suggest trips nearby. Meli also trained our young dog during the holiday. She quickly spotted her potential and showed us, with care and patience, how to handle her well. She’s clearly an experienced trainer. It was a win-win holiday for us, and we’d gladly return. Thanks to Gabi, Meli, and Milou the dog.

It’s a cosy, pleasant place, and the owner is friendly and happy to help. Everything you need is there, and it feels like home, unless home is a place you’d rather not be reminded of :)

The kids are already talking about coming back next year. They loved the spacious rooms, the attic sleeping area, and having fresh bread delivered each day. We also found Gabi's Lodge a handy base, with great day-trip options in pretty much every direction. The host family were lovely, very helpful, and so friendly. We had a really enjoyable stay, and we’ll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you for this year!

I slept so well with the sound of the river nearby, and there are hours of walking routes starting right from the house. After a hike, or a sauna, the natural pond in the garden is lovely. We felt welcome at Gabi's Lodge from the moment we arrived. The rooms are roomy and thoughtfully renovated and furnished, though I did wish the shower had a shelf ;). The bread delivery only worked once, but that was the baker’s fault. We liked the direct, sustainable connection with the mountains, without the Kitzbühel-style après-ski (hiking) scene, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

The owners were very friendly, and the apartment and garden were both lovely. Everything matched the description, and we didn’t find ourselves wanting for anything. Dog training is available as an add-on, and I’d highly recommend it for its clear, effective communication.
