Praschhof

Our family holiday here was amazing. Four adults and a toddler fit perfectly in one of the apartments, and we loved seeing farm life and joining in as much as we wanted. The host family was wonderful, and the homemade breakfasts on the terrace came with a breathtaking view. We met the dairy cows, piggies Elvis & Priscilla, ducks, goats, ponies, and kittens, all such heartwarming animals. There was plenty to make each day different, from world-class biking and hiking trails nearby to medieval castles and gorgeous waterfalls with the mountains behind them. On site, we also enjoyed the scenic grilling cabin and the big playground with its sand pit, slides, swings, and more.

The animals at Praschhof are so sociable, and our children loved feeding them in the afternoons and seeing a newborn cow named Pepa. There are rabbits, ponies, goats, donkeys, pigs, ducks, cows, chickens, and cats. It’s a lovely farm experience, quite different from other farms I know. Our apartment was well built and nicely decorated, with good views, two bedrooms, two bathrooms including one shower, a dining room with an open kitchen, and a sofa. We had books, board games, and lots of DVD movies available, and felt at home for all ten days. We’re a family of six, with children aged two to seven, always looking for new adventures. The mountains around Praschhof offer hikes at different levels, and the "Lungau card" Marion gave us made it easy to find things to do each day, with lots of free options like swimming pools, castles, adventure parks, and cable cars. Hans and Marion enjoy farm life and serve breakfast every morning with delicious local products, including milk, yogurt, butter, bread, jam, eggs, and cheese. We strongly recommend staying here. I’m only sorry Praschhof is so far from Barcelona, so we can’t come more often. We’ll be back anyway. Thank you!

The kids loved getting hands-on with the animals, and we got a real look at everyday life on the farm. Marion greeted us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, with an absolutely stunning view. The week flew by and was wonderful. We wholeheartedly recommend the Praschhof, and my family and I will definitely stay there again.
