Am Sunnaberg

The terrace is a lovely place to unwind after exploring Imst, Kaunertal, Pitztal, or Ötztal, and it has a wide panoramic view with afternoon shade. Early risers can climb the side stairs to catch a beautiful sunrise. The apartment was clean and had enough furnishings and equipment for a comfortable stay for two. There should be far more than five stars for this place.

We felt so at ease with Kathrin and Christian, and came away with lovely memories. We had great conversations, learned a lot, and were invited to get involved. They were relaxed and flexible throughout, and even let us check out late after ski lessons. The children especially loved helping in the stables with feeding, grooming, and mucking out, then heading to the playground with its sandbox, slide, play equipment, two little houses, and treehouse. There’s also a fantastic sky swing, with meadow, hills, and forest just outside. The atmosphere felt like a holiday with friends, and the views over the Pitztal valley and Hochzeiger were superb. It’s very handy for skiing at Hochzeiger, with ski storage too. We’d gladly return again and again, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Getting down to Wenns for an evening walk takes a bit of fitness because the apartment sits so high up. But the view is priceless, and we had another wonderful holiday. The place is modern and beautifully furnished, with everything we needed. The hosts are lovely and can offer helpful ideas for all kinds of activities if you want them. We’ll certainly be back.

The hosts are so warm and friendly, and the view of Hochzeiger is fantastic. We stayed here for our fifth winter holiday with our two children. The apartment was very clean and roomy enough for four. By car, it’s easy to get to the cross-country ski trails in the nature park, the ski area, and the Piller fish pond. We’ll definitely return.
