Watch out. The waiter got my partner to order a dish that cost twice as much as the one she’d asked for, and charged us for two drinks we never had. It felt dodgy.

The rooms were clean and had what we needed for one night, though they were pretty basic. There’s no air conditioning, so we opened the balcony door for some fresh air. We stopped here as planned because it’s ideally placed for visiting the Eisriesenwelt the next morning. The staff were friendly and attentive. Dinner was good and filling, with local fish and the usual meat dishes, though the restaurant itself is fairly simple. There are more atmospheric places just a few steps down the street. Breakfast had something for everyone, but don’t expect anything spectacular.

We didn’t eat here, so this is a thank-you to the staff. On the evening of June 2, we were trying to find parking before dinner at another restaurant, but every space seemed to be taken. We spotted a place across the street, and the kind lady outside let us park there for an hour. We really appreciated her kindness, and it made our evening. Thanks again!
