We’ve happily returned for 40 years. The complex is right in central Westendorf, with the ski lifts and gondolas an easy walk away. There’s plenty to enjoy, including a jacuzzi, several saunas, a sunbed, and a ping-pong table, plus fresh linens and towels. The staff, even the cleaning staff, are friendly, and owner Ms. Heidy Treighl is especially warm and hospitable. The interior feels a little dated, but it’s perfectly adequate and has a Tyrolean style.

You can walk to the slope in about 250 meters, so there’s no need for a bus. We were there late in the season and hardly saw anyone, which may or may not suit you. The sauna is good, the owner is friendly, and there’s a ping-pong table. The apartment is old-fashioned, and the stove didn’t work very well, though we could still make a meal. The coffee cups are small. The restrooms were nice, and there’s a pleasant little balcony.
