Stangleggerhof

We felt completely at ease on this beautiful, tidy farm. Andrea and Alois always made time for us and our son, and we never felt like we were in the way. Simply wonderful.

We've visited the Stangleggerhof in both summer and winter, and it's always a lovely place to relax. The apartments are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the farm is very child-friendly. The warmth and friendliness of the whole family really stand out. The Aschberger family always find time for their guests.

We spent two weeks here as a family of five and had a wonderful holiday. The Aschberger family were fantastic hosts, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Our apartment was very well equipped, and the bread delivery service made for a great start to each day. The kids loved the dog, cat, and horses, and even our 13-year-old felt right at home on the farm. Wiesing is a handy base for Lake Achensee, Zillertal Valley, Alpbachtal Valley, Innsbruck, and plenty of other places. There are lots of options for outings, hikes, and food within 30 minutes, and we only managed to see a fraction in two weeks. We also enjoyed the family's schnapps. For hiking, the Achensee Adventure Card is a good option. We liked walking uphill and taking the cable car back down, which was easier on the knees. Starting from the Rofan mountain station is convenient for reaching the trails, including a hike with the children all the way to the Rofan summit. We definitely recommend the farm.

Beautiful holiday apartments with great amenities, set in a wonderful location. Guests get a warm welcome, and it's very child-friendly. The owners are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'd love to return.
