Golden Hill Country Chalets & Suites

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Golden Hills Country Chalets & Suites, tucked into the Styrian hillside just outside Graz Austria. Breakfast was brought to our chalet each day, and it was awesome. The service, food, and staff were outstanding. The owners are there daily and take care of every detail and need. Each chalet was spotless, beautifully appointed, and extremely well maintained. Andreas is a terrific resource for wine and cocktails, and Barbara's cooking is out of this world. On our last night, she made a superb six-course dinner for our group of 10. Afterward we had more wine, cigars, and lively conversation. They really know how to entertain! The team can arrange just about anything you can think of, including tours and wine tastings. It's funny, the resort has articles in every kind of fashion and travel magazine, yet still feels like a hidden gem. Well worth experiencing for yourself. We'll be back in the fall.

The chalet at Golden Hill was just right for a romantic few days away. My wife and I came from Bulgaria for some sunshine, and loved how relaxing the massage by the cozy fireplace was, followed by a wonderful meal served right to our chalet. The park grounds looked stunning, and Andreas and the other hosts were great company at the wine tasting in the cellar. Every wish was taken care of. We had a lovely stay and hope to return. XOXO

The hosts are kind and fun, and they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. We loved the food and especially the drinks selection. Our house was beautifully designed and extremely clean 🥰, and the whole place is peaceful and beautiful. This was my best experience in Austria so far. We’ll definitely come back 😊.

Golden Hill felt like a hidden gem, with a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The owners were fun and very welcoming. We had a wonderful stay at Golden Fox chalet and will definitely return.
