Brunner Apartments

Everything was clean, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and an infrared sauna. It’s such a great place to stay in Niederau that I almost don’t want to share my secret. The location is right by the gondola and main street, with restaurants and cafés within 50 meters just down the stairs.

We’ve stayed here many times and are always happy to return. The reception team and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The apartment is large, spacious, spotless, and well equipped, with wheelchair access, a big balcony overlooking the mountains, and an elevator in the building. It’s also ideally located right next to the cable car. One of the most beautiful holiday apartments we know.

The apartment is furnished in a lovely, modern style. Street noise and the restaurant right below the balcony make the surroundings noisy, which bothers us.

The location is fantastic, right beside the gondola lift, and having an elevator in the house is a plus. It’s a shame, because this is a beautiful house, but the way it’s being run feels sad. We won’t be back. We’d stayed in this apartment building several times, so I picked it for my yoga retreat, but the experience left us disappointed. The furnishings and layout are great, yet some furniture was in terrible shape. The chairs looked awful and were broken, and being told that replacements had been ordered but hadn’t arrived since May wasn’t good enough. Temporary chairs should have been provided. The patio table was completely broken and could have torn our clothes if we’d eaten there. It was replaced only after we asked. The balcony’s metal railing hadn’t been cleaned for months. When I raised it, the owner asked why it should be cleaned and what we did out there. You should apparently request a clean balcony in advance. I understand that something can occasionally be missed, but worn out or broken furniture is a deal breaker. For a 4-star property, I shouldn’t have to inspect everything like a vehicle inspection and report what needs replacing or what wasn’t cleaned properly. On top of that, the owner spoke to us more condescendingly than anyone ever has.
