Hotel Staffler

The ski guides made learning to ski feel manageable. After a few lessons on the nursery slopes in Niederau, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, I finally went up the slopes with them and other guests. The hotel arranged all the transport, so exploring the Alps was hands-free. Each run felt like an adventure, with stops to enjoy après-ski, whether that was a cappuccino or, for me, something stronger. Nick and Yana brought everyone together with so much energy and made the atmosphere feel welcoming. Jami was incredible in the kitchen, and the three-course dinners were delicious. I still think about those comforting soups after a day in the snow. The housekeeping team kept my room spotless and cosy. I’d never skied before and was spending Christmas away from my family, so I was nervous, but from the moment I arrived at the Staffler I felt surrounded by family. Before we even reached the hotel, Gaston and Ret picked us up from Munich airport and greeted us so warmly. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable holiday. The Staffler is a place you want to be part of, not just somewhere to drop your bags. Everyone’s warmth, kindness, and care made my Christmas truly special. I’m counting down until I can come back for more laughs, food, and skiing. If you’re considering a trip, book it. You won’t regret it.

Staffler had already booked great lunches for us on the slopes, and the guides helped make sure we got what we wanted from our skiing. The team were fantastic, fun, knowledgeable, dedicated, and kind, looking after us from airport pickup to ski guiding and at the hotel. All guests need to bring is a desire to ski, relax, and enjoy themselves, be on time for the morning bus, and tuck into a delicious three-course dinner each night.

Yana and Nick make the experience fun from the moment you arrive at Hotel Staffler. They can help arrange airport transfers and lift passes, take you to the best parts of the mountains for skiing, and provide a great breakfast and fun group dinner each day. There’s nothing you need to organise yourself. I can see why people return year after year. Love the Staffler.

My dad and I weren’t staying at the hotel, but we stopped at the cave bar every day after skiing. The brownies were delicious every time, and we had such a good time with the staff. Freddy and Nick, you’re the best!
