The room was cosy and tastefully decorated, and I can imagine it being really cute in winter. Breakfast was tasty, especially the fresh egg and omelette counter. Everyone we met on staff was lovely. It did get quite hot in the room because there’s no air conditioning, which was the only drawback, though I suspect that’s common in the Alps. We had a wonderful stay last week and wouldn’t hesitate to return. I’d love to try a ski season here. Thanks again.
The decor in my room was a little dated, but it was spotless. The food, staff, service, decor and location were all perfect, and the independent hotel clearly works hard to get things right. We were there for skiing and would love to visit in summer too, maybe one day. I’d highly recommend it.
The breakfast was extensive and high quality, with omelettes made to order, and there were hiking backpacks in each room to borrow. The spa was large and really special. Staff gave impeccable service and made us feel special, while being genuinely lovely people. It was an exceptional stay, with all the details feeling just right. Stay here if you want to feel spoiled.

The hotel also felt wonderfully calm and welcoming, intimate and cosy while still offering the luxury you’d expect from a world-class retreat. We stayed in Zell am See this past August, and the experience was unforgettable. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the rooms and shared spaces, and the decor was carefully arranged, with subtle lighting, well-placed cushions and a striking fireplace in the lobby. Even the towels were among the best we’ve used, thick, soft and fluffy, making the post-bath experience feel special. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful haven.
