Chalet Schnberger

The house had enough space and beds for our group of 11, though it seems better suited to a family than 16 adults. The booking listed a jacuzzi and sauna, but there was no sauna, just an outdoor plunge pool. After we called Sunweb, we could use the sauna at the hotel across the street for a fee. Housekeeping was poor too: the toilet flooded on our first day, and the dishwasher kept running.

We'd loved this chalet when we stayed last year, so coming back to find it in such disappointing shape was a real letdown. The beds had bedbugs, and half our group ended up with red, itchy spots. The sauna was broken when we arrived and took three days and many phone calls to get fixed. The jacuzzi also looked nothing like the pictures, just an inflatable pool that stayed below 30 degrees Celsius in the cold weather. And the chalet wasn't clean on arrival: chips were under the table, the sheets were stained, and there was a dirty plaster in the jacuzzi. Sadly, I can't recommend it anymore.
