The rooms felt a bit small, and there wasn't a comfortable spot to hang out in the small living area. The place didn't give a very clean impression. There was also a shortage of cleaning supplies, plates, and cutlery, and the dishwasher was terrible. Just an okay stay.

The bus stop to downtown is right outside the door, and Schmittenhöhe is nearby. The city center itself isn't close.

The lady who runs this accommodation is very kind and happy to suggest outings and explain different routes. She even pointed out which trails could be managed with a stroller. It's run by a Czech family, and they also have a guesthouse nearby where you can pick up a summer card. We would definitely go again.

I stayed here in 2017. The hotel was beautiful and quiet, with an amazing view, though a little way from the center of Zell am See.
