The beds were very comfortable, and customer service was at a really high level. The rooms are well appointed, with quality equipment and furniture, and you can see the care given to every detail. It’s a lovely place, beautifully designed, and we highly recommend it.

The pool is taken up by swimming classes for village children every weekday from 1 to 3 pm, and guests can’t use it then. There’s also no soap dispenser in the kids' club toilet. Buses to Zell am See stop running at 7:19 pm, so you have to walk back. Our room was extremely hot and stuffy, and we couldn’t sleep in the bedroom, so we all moved to the living room. We asked for a fan, but the large, middle-aged female receptionist on the morning shift on August 12 said they were all in use in other rooms and refused to help. She also wouldn’t answer my follow-up questions. The premium rooms, the most expensive two- or three-room apartments, are under the roof and seem to have the same problem. There was no ventilation in the toilet, mosquitoes at night, and wasps and hornets living in the wooden beams just outside rooms 302, 303, and 215. We couldn’t open the windows to air the rooms without insects flying in. Andrea at reception was friendly. The middle-aged male receptionist on the evening of August 17 was very informative and gave guests before me much more detailed check-in information.

There’s plenty to do here, including a 5m by 10m pool and a kids’ playroom, and the rooms are nicely designed. It’s easy to get to the ski resorts on a bus that’s free for anyone with a ski pass. The place was very clean, the service friendly and excellent, and when we had an electricity problem it was fixed almost immediately. Highly recommended.

We had a really relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious, with an outdoorsy design, and there’s a small package-free shop for cooking supplies. The lake is just a few minutes’ walk away. Thanks!
