A cozy spot close to the lake, with the amenities available. It was a bit expensive, and the cleaning and dishwashing charges are too high.

Such a lovely place.

The heating really needs a thermostat. By morning the floor gets so hot that it nearly burns your feet. A lot of the furnishings are worn too: the bed, including its headboard and footboard, is close to falling apart, and the curtain rods, table, chairs and other things need repairs or replacement. That would take quite a bit of money.

There’s nowhere to dry your clothes after skiing, and even the boot dryer doesn’t work. Its compressor makes noise but doesn’t blow air, so you end up laying your shoes out on the room floor. The rooms seem poorly maintained, the shower drain is clogged and there’s no soundproofing. In a six-person apartment we had just five chairs and four hangers.
