Magali’s was recommended by a family friend from Austria for our January ’26 ski trip, and I’m happy to pass that recommendation along. The location deserves seven stars: City Express gondola and buses to Kaprun or Saalbach are a two-minute walk away, and the train station for Kitzbuhl is an eight-minute walk. We could get everywhere we wanted. Our room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, including when I had credit card issues, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. It was nice sharing it with skiers from around the world. There’s a ski equipment room downstairs, and the staff pointed us to Eurosport Ski rental next door, which I’d recommend too.

We’d definitely come back. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was very good, and the town center is close. The mountains are nearby too and easy to reach by car. With the summer card, entry to some lifts is free.

You can’t beat the location, with the ski lift and bars both just a two-minute walk away. The rooms are great, there’s lots of choice at breakfast, and the staff are so friendly. Absolutely perfect place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, I found the apartments below standard and not very clean, with insects and little attention to cleanliness in the room. There’s no kitchen in the room, which also seemed below standard to me. We spoke with the woman who works there, and she let us use the shared kitchen, though the older man working there argued with us about it. I hope they’ll handle things nicely with their tenant. Thank you.
