This is a peaceful, family-friendly place with a cozy feel, not somewhere for partying, though there are places to do that nearby. The rooms are simple, match the photos, have what you need, and are very warm. There's ski storage with a drying area, free parking, and a sauna you can use for free with a reservation. Breakfast is simple but more than enough to start the day. The ski lift is just a few minutes away. The town center takes about 20 minutes to walk to, and buses run too, though not late at night. With the Zell am See app, you get a Guest Mobility Ticket as a nice bonus. A great spot to unwind after skiing, highly recommended!

I spent eight nights here on a ski holiday, my second time staying at Pension Margarete. The family who run it are friendly and professional, and the place is very clean. It was quiet at night, and the service people were friendly. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of good choices. The ski lifts are just a two-minute walk away. I really like staying here, and I'll definitely book again next year. Highly recommend.

The location is fabulous, right beside the ski lifts, so you can ski straight in and out. The family running Pension Margarete are friendly and professional, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return again and again. Highly recommended.

An extensive breakfast buffet is included, and in the evening you can get a small meal or snack if you want. The hotel is run by a friendly Austrian/Dutch family who live there, and the location is fantastic, right beside three ski lifts.
