We made good use of the large balcony, having dinner there with the whole family and even firing up the barbecue twice. There’s also a smaller balcony with a little view of the lake, where we ate breakfast in the sun each day. The apartment is modern and well equipped, with roomy, sunny rooms and a big bathroom that has both a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen has a large fridge and a dishwasher, with tablets included, and there’s parking in the underground garage. For me, it’s a clear five out of five. Staying here when visiting Lake Zell is a great choice.

Picking up and returning the apartment key meant driving to a different building, and check-out was at 10:00 AM. I think they should use combination locks on the main and side doors and keep a key inside instead. The building has several floors but just one elevator, and there’s no view beyond the nearby buildings. I booked a two-bedroom apartment: one bedroom had three separate beds, the other had a single bunk bed. There was one bathroom with a shower and washing machine, plus a separate toilet with only a handwashing sink. The living room sofa could be made into a bed, and there was a kitchenette, dining table, and balcony. Parking was available in front of the building. My main issue was having just one bathroom, and not being allowed to pour water on the floor made ablution difficult.
