The lake and mountain views are the best part, and it’s wonderful to wake up to them. The hotel is close to town but not right in it, so it isn’t too loud. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the dinners were delicious, each with salad, starter, soup and dessert, plus a choice of three main dishes every day. Rooms aren’t very well soundproofed, so light sleepers should bring earplugs.

The location and breakfast made for a nice stay, and I’d recommend it if stairs aren’t a problem for you. Just plan ahead: when suggesting family activities, they don’t really account for the ages of everyone in the family, so check the bus numbers before heading out. Room service and other requests go through the app. The reception desk isn’t staffed after around 9 or 9:30 pm.

We were very happy with our week here. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Dinner was a typical Austrian four-course meal with a theme. Breakfast was the one weak spot for me: the beans, sausages and bacon were cold or only lukewarm, as though the hotplates hadn’t been turned on. Even so, I was satisfied with the stay and would come back.

Breakfast had a tasty selection, a good start before heading to the slopes, and we’ll definitely return. The views of the lake from the rooms were unobstructed, which was lovely to wake up to each morning. A staff member said the building is 100 years old, but it’s very well maintained and still keeps its traditional country design. Biljana and Alma looked after us kindly throughout our stay.

Really appreciated the service, especially from the Bosnian receptionist. We enjoyed the view, the rooms were nice, and dinner was reasonably priced. Thanks again for looking after us.
