This was our second visit, on 31/1/26, and we’ll stay again on our next trip to Zell. The spa was a great way to unwind after skiing. We also liked the spacious, clean room and the very good breakfast selection, with attentive service. The location is excellent, just two or three minutes from cityXpress and a couple more minutes from the town centre bars and restaurants.

The family made us feel so welcome and were genuinely kind and gracious. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at St Georg this January. It’s about a five-minute walk to both the chairlift and town centre, and the food was delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

The sauna area is spacious, and the warm pool was lovely for relaxing after a day of skiing. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a fresh omelet you could order each morning. Really nice!

We stayed for a week in January 25 and would definitely come back. The wellness area was relaxing, and while the pool is dated, it was clean and the jets were great for massaging my back. Our room was a good size, clean, and looked out over Zell am See. It’s a five-minute walk downhill to town, and the ski bus stops and nearest gondola are about five minutes away, even in ski boots. We booked bed and breakfast. Breakfast was a lovely typical Austrian spread, and dinner at the hotel with friends was superb.

The room was a good size, the bed comfortable, and the renovated bathroom had good lighting. The furniture has a classic 70s Austrian look, and there was just one usable power outlet, which was the main downside. The hotel is on the road towards the Schmitten alpine complex, about a 10-minute walk from downtown, the casino and ferry pier. There are plenty of restaurants in town, though the bar’s torte flambée was great with a beer. Breakfast was good quality, with a wide choice of meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruit. The staff were outstanding at pointing us towards attractions. We had a great stay at St. Georg Hotel.
