Penthouses Zell am See

The room was lovely, very clean, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The breakfast staff member who gets everything ready so early was a star, and the other staff were great too. But the receptionist was so angry toward guests on holiday that it spoiled the stay for us. Kindness goes a long way, and I won’t be back.

The service was wonderful from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their kindness and attention to detail. We stayed for five nights, and the whole experience was lovely.

The cleaning schedule was the one small snag: rooms are cleaned every three days, but if you happen to be in yours, they skip it. On rainy days it’s hard to stay out, especially with a baby. That didn’t spoil our holiday, though. The apartment was lovely and clean, the view from ours was amazing, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was great. We really enjoyed staying here.

We stayed for two summer nights as a family of four, and the lake was wonderfully refreshing in the warm weather. The summer pass included with the stay gave us free access to the beach club, just a 4-5 minute walk away, which was a huge perk. Shops, including a decent grocery store, were about five minutes on foot. The kitchen was great, though it didn’t have basics like oil, spices, salt or pepper. They had powerful fans to move air around the room, which was nice. Reserve parking ahead of time. We’d happily stay again and recommend it.
