Such a shame. The house itself isn’t bad, but the owner has become a nightmare. I left a helpful review suggesting smoke alarms be added so the house would comply, and more than a week after our stay he tried to debit money from us. Mike doesn’t seem to take criticism well. I’d advise avoiding it if you can. One important safety requirement and he couldn’t accept our review. You decide.

A very comfortable stay in a perfect, convenient location. The tasting and discount vouchers were a nice bonus, and Chapel Hill was exceptional. Breakfast supplies were generous and good quality, and the place was set up and serviced very well. The back sliding door needs some maintenance, and the key is bent. My earlier post went up by mistake, in a hurry and before I’d finished the review.

Mike, the owner of 3 Pears on the Park, gave us helpful suggestions for things to see and do in McLarenvale. The home was clean, well equipped, and comfortable for our group of two couples and one other person, with three separate bedrooms that suited us perfectly. The beds were very comfortable, and the fridge had breakfast goodies and nibbles to go with coffee. Highly recommended!

We were delighted with our stay and appreciated the well equipped home, including the BBQ area and a great range of breakfast provisions. The location was perfect, and the king-size beds were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are a bit tired, though. Thanks, Mike and Sue!

The owner’s recommendations were outstanding, and there are lots of attractions nearby, whale watching included. A beautiful park is right across the road, and it’s a relaxed five minute walk to the main street. The property was clean and came with good breakfast supplies. We were two couples and really needed the two bathrooms. We’ll definitely be back.
