AL RU Farm

Our June wedding at Al Ru Farm was spectacular. The forecast looked gloomy, but the rain held off long enough for a beautiful garden ceremony by the pond. The reception area looked stunning, and guests loved the canapés by the rustic fireplace near the barn. The food, service, and staff were amazing, and everyone went above and beyond to make the day perfect. The accommodation was fantastic too. It’s a venue you have to see to believe. Our wedding at Al Ru Farm felt magical from the moment we arrived, like stepping into our own little world. The gardens were stunning, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Even with that peaceful feeling, the venue is conveniently close and accessible to Adelaide’s Northern suburbs. Staying on site made the whole weekend relaxed and special. The accommodation was gorgeous, comfortable, and full of charm, and we got to enjoy the property at our own pace. The staff were incredible, friendly, attentive, and truly invested in making the day easy for us. We felt supported from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble. Their calm, helpful presence kept everything running smoothly. We loved the Farm Feast menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our chef, Mardi, was phenomenal with dietary requirements, very organised, and a big part of making everything go smoothly. Her warmth and professionalism came through all weekend. We’re so grateful we celebrated there. Al Ru Farm is breathtaking and full of wonderful people, and we’d recommend it to any couple wanting a beautiful, welcoming, unforgettable setting for their special day.

I always enjoy coming back to Al Ru Farm for wedding shoots. The team is professional and helpful, and Ruth and the gardeners do a top-notch job keeping everything in shape. The afternoon and sunset light is especially lovely for photos. With the gardens, rustic barn, farmhouse and natural surroundings, there are beautiful spots to shoot in any season.

The team made the lead-up and wedding day so easy with all their help. We stayed at the venue the night before and on our wedding night, and family used the other two rooms. There were plenty of lovely photo spots, and the barn already looked great with its mirrors, so we barely needed extra decorations. It’s a beautiful venue with great accommodation too.
