The shallow water makes Brighton Beach a safe place for children to enjoy, and it’s also a great spot for dog and pet lovers. The beach has plenty to do, with cafés, the Esplanade Hotel, a jetty for fishing, and family events like the Brighton Jetty Classic swim. There are restaurants, bars, and places to hang out, too. The wide sandy beach is patrolled by Surf Life Savers from the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club and is known as family-friendly. Sunset is lovely here, especially with a beer. Classic!

Really nice beach, with lots of space and clean water. No big waves or strong currents, and the water temperature is just right.

Brighton Beach is a busy, beautiful place with a long jetty and a wide sandy shore. Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club is here. You can walk or ride, fish, collect shells, barbecue, swim, enjoy the sunshine, or stop for coffee. Seacliff Beach is to the south, and Sommerton Beach is to the north.
