ibis Adelaide

The hotel is right in the city centre, with easy access to restaurants, attractions and public transport. Our room was comfortable and well kept, and staff were friendly and professional. The main drawback was late-night street noise. Traffic and nightlife were audible even through the double-glazed windows, and could bother light sleepers. It's a practical option if being central matters most, though a higher-floor room or earplugs may help if you're sensitive to noise.

Staff were very friendly, and the hotel has a good location, a good gym and very good breakfast. The laundry facilities were good too, and our room was nice. Parking costs a bit much, and the fixed shower was the only downside in the room. We also ate at the restaurant and liked the food. They changed the menu during our stay, though, so I'm not including photos in case they no longer match. The picture is the room view at sunset.

The location was great, and the price per person was competitive. We only stayed one night, but Ibis suited our needs well. The room was plain but perfectly solid, with plenty of towels and a clean, comfortable bed. The shower and bathroom were up to standard. The 3-in-1 body wash, soap and shampoo wasn't very good, so bring your own if you want to feel properly clean. We arrived early and only planned to leave our bags in the lobby before check-in. The receptionist offered to set up an account so we could check in early for free. It was quick and easy, and I really appreciated the helpful service. I'd consider staying here again in the city.

The rooms are small, but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Staff are really friendly and recognize returning guests. It's close to everything in the city and an easy walk to the tram, making it a great place to stay.
