Vibe Hotel Adelaide

I stayed for a week and really didn’t want to leave. The bed was so comfortable, honestly I’ve never slept better 😂 The room was pristine when I arrived and cleaned every day. It was super affordable and close to the mall, zoo, cafes and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and having a 24/7 lobby saved me when my flight arrived late at night 🙏 If I’m back in the city, I’ll 100% stay here again.

The room and bathroom were a good size, with windows for natural light, a mini fridge, hanging space and shelves. The bed was very big and comfy, the TV was large, and everything was clean to a good standard. Housekeeping comes once a day, so if you miss them, that’s on you. It’s a modern hotel and good value, with helpful staff when needed. The gym is small but has cardio machines and free weights up to 25kg, and the small outdoor pool is heated. We were on level 2 and noticed a slight plumbing smell.

We paid over USD $800 for two New Year’s Eve rooms, USD $400 each, and the stay was still one of our worst hotel experiences. The rooms were overpriced, and the service, facilities, cleanliness and value all fell far below what we expected. Even basic items like slippers and toothbrushes weren’t provided. We were travelling with a child, which made that especially inconvenient. After checking in, our child developed a severe skin allergy, which raised serious concerns for us about cleanliness and hygiene. The service was poor too. While carrying our luggage, we asked a staff member to open the lobby door. He rudely told us, “There is a button on the left, open it yourself.” Breakfast was just as disappointing. They strictly allow one order per person, and even an extra egg costs more. It felt like everything came with another fee, despite the already high room price. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The customer service stood out most. Everyone we dealt with, from housekeeping and the minibar staff to the kitchen team, was sincere, friendly, receptive and down to earth. Sophie at check-in was especially attentive and amiable. We were graciously upgraded on our first stay, which was much appreciated during the busy Ashes period. The quieter part of Adelaide’s CBD kept us away from the hustle while still making it easy to reach what the city offers. Most places are walkable, and there’s nearby street parking and paid parking. I can imagine this being a great spot for Festival Season or the Fringe. Our room was beyond comfortable, with a superb city view. We slept soundly in the bed, which is unusual for me away from home. The amenities were clean and well serviced, the Wi-Fi was easy to use, and we appreciated the Chromecast. The small pool was a lovely temperature for a dip. Breakfast was included and we had no complaints. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to others! 🙏🏼 ✨🏨
