The room price made no sense given how bad the stay was. The fish smell was everywhere, even in the bathrooms, and it was almost impossible to put up with. On top of that, management were rude and showed no hospitality. They seemed more interested in money than welcoming guests, and basic cleanliness and service were neglected. I’d tell people to avoid this hotel.

A lovely street, and we’d stay here again. The shared walls mean you can hear the other units, but the guests kept things quiet from 9:30 pm, as the holiday unit notes recommend. Cafes and restaurants at Middleton Beach are an easy walk away, as is a fun hiking area. Swim nets were in place.

We’ve already stayed twice and would happily come back. It’s quiet, spotlessly clean, and in a great spot for visiting Albany and the surrounding area. The beds are really comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need, plus a bit more. It’s exactly what it claims to be, a relaxing place to sleep, not a luxury resort. Great value for money.

The location was the one real plus, handy for the beach and cafes. We only stayed one night, which was enough for us. The rooms were clean, but old and dated, and the bathroom was too. I can’t see how a decent shower is meant to work with a tiny block of soap barely bigger than a postage stamp.

My wife, daughter, and grandchildren were all comfortable and very happy here. It felt like a home away from home, with large, clean, tidy rooms that were nicely presented and had plenty of what we needed. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of Middleton Beach. Thanks so much 🥰
