Comfort Inn & Suites Georgian

The Queen suite felt like a two-bedroom terrace, and there was loads of space for a family, two singles, two couples or a small group. I'd stay again. My four-star rating is down to tight, limited parking and some noise if there's a rowdy group or your room is near the Riverina Hwy. Dean St is about a 10-minute walk away.

Our two rooms were roomy and the beds were clean and comfortable. There were towels, tea, coffee, sugar and milk, and the shower had great water pressure. For five adults, two teenagers and three little boys, we were very happy with the two-night stay. It was good value and conveniently close to shops, takeaways and restaurants, as well as where we needed to go.

Anjali at reception went out of her way to help us during last-minute travel because of the fires. The downstairs rooms were full, but she asked another guest if they'd swap rooms because of my elderly mother's knees. We were so grateful. The rooms also look recently renovated and felt good quality.

The location is very convenient, but the room was dated and in poor repair. The bathroom tap was nearly coming off. The bed had a thin quilt under the bedspread, with no cover or top sheet, and the quilt was badly stained. I couldn't tell what the stains were, but it felt unhygienic. There was no breakfast available.
