Unit 48, our Superior beachside oceanview, has been renovated and is lovely. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and the bathrooms were amazing. The beach is directly across the road, with restaurants and other places down the road. Traffic was the one downside, though it was less noticeable with the balcony door shut. We'd love to come back.

The place has a calm, relaxing feel and lovely facilities. I wasn't too concerned that the staff weren't especially friendly, but maintenance and cleanliness were a bigger issue for me. The studio bathroom wasn't very clean, particularly the toilet and shower. The fan didn't seem to work, though we couldn't tell if it was just decorative. Dead batteries in the lamps and TV remote meant we couldn't use them.

The pool area was on the small side, which was the only downside for me. I loved how close everything was, especially the beach, and didn't need my car during my three-day stay. Fortunately, my two-bedroom unit had been renovated.

Children screamed and yelled around the pool with no parental control. Worst hotel in Alexandra Headland. There are many more beautiful places to stay in the area with a beach view, and it's easy to walk to the beach from the east side of the Sunshine Coast.

The staff were kind and very helpful, and we liked the location for our first visit to this beach. The building is older, but everything was clean and tidy. We were disappointed that our lower-level beachfront room looked onto trees that blocked the view. Traffic noise was so loud on the balcony that it really spoiled our chance to relax, which was a big reason we'd wanted a holiday. The pool also looked quite small, and the place seemed bigger in the photos.
