The owner or manager was very kind and sent our child’s much-loved toy after us when we forgot it. The community kitchen was well equipped, and the games room had an old pool table. We had a family room for four. It was a little dated and tight, but clean and perfectly adequate for one night. Nice, low-cost accommodation.

Desert Rose is a lovely name for this place. The rooms are clean and a good size, and the location is great. Staff were friendly and flexible with dates when we needed to extend. It’s solid, practical accommodation at a good price. The huge shared kitchen is clean and well equipped, and there’s also laundry with an ironing board. Those are handy essentials if you’re staying a while or need a home away from home. Highly recommend.

The room was tiny, and the door wouldn’t open all the way. It smelled like a seedy old man. The floor was dirty, the sink and shower hadn’t been cleaned, and everything was super dusty. The shared kitchen was disgusting. There was a dog at reception that barked at everyone and terrified me, even though I usually love dogs. Would not recommend.

It’s not a luxury place, but we enjoyed our stay and I’m happy to recommend this Motel. The staff were pleasant, and there was off-road parking. The laundry and self-serve kitchen facilities were good, and the accommodation was comfortable.

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, with Foxtel, and it’s right in the heart of Alice Springs. The only problem was the bathroom door jamming. It left me stuck in there a couple of times.
