We had everything we needed for a comfortable three-night stay in these lovely, quaint cottages. They’re close to Angaston town centre in the Barossa Valley.

Our host was gracious, and the place was quiet and relaxing, just a little way out of town. The breakfast provisions were a lovely surprise: bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, cereal and fresh fruit. A great experience!

The cottage felt cosy and beautiful, with lovely music playing when we arrived. Vicki had added so many personal touches, including homemade sweets around the house, a complimentary bottle of wine and excellent breakfast supplies. The wood fire kept us warm and toasty. It made for a memorable stay, and we’d happily come back.

We only booked a couple of nights and ended up wishing we’d stayed longer. It’s cosy, peaceful and a lovely place to be. The complimentary wine, nibbles and breakfast goods were thoughtful extras. On a clear, dark night, step out the back and you can see the Milky Way and loads of stars. I miss skies like that in the city. We’ll be back!

Everything about the Country Pleasures cottages is so well done, from the furnishing and decor to the presentation. The comfortable bed, luxurious spa and cosy log fire are just some of the thoughtful touches. This was our second visit, and definitely won’t be our last. Thanks for another wonderful stay.
