Our only small issue was that the double bed was made from two singles, though the bed itself was comfortable and we understood why a business might set it up that way. It wasn't a big hassle. If that matters to you, perhaps call ahead to check. The rooms at The Monty felt fresh and refurbished, with a distinctive style that was still clean and comfortable to return to. The cleaners had everything spotless. It's across the highway, the price is reasonable, and there's a small pool. We'd come back.

I expected to walk into a worn-out old hotel, but the room was a real surprise: very clean, freshly renovated, and put together with a stylish look. I'm staying here now and have been impressed by the interior design. There's a pool, and the beach and restaurants are a short walk away. Check-in had been arranged in advance and was hassle-free. The team answers the phone quickly when you have a question. Well done! 😊

We had a fun stay in the clean, playful rooms, and that funky new look was great. The beach is an easy short walk, as are the general store for coffee and the pub for dinner. Hope we can come back soon!
