Point of View

The beaches are amazing, and there’s plenty of hiking and exploring to do. The drive from Melbourne is lovely too, just a few hours. The town is only minutes away, with great restaurants, a grocery and liquor store, and a friendly, homely feel. It’s a good size, not too big or small. The place itself was even better than I expected: stunning, spotless, and incredibly peaceful. I couldn’t have found a more serene spot. I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!

Even with rain all day and night, I had a wonderful stay. The views were lovely, and listening to the birds, sheep, and other nature sounds was so peaceful. By chance, I got to meet the owner when I arrived. The in-room spa was a real treat, especially with the view from it. Champagne and chocolates were a lovely surprise, and I appreciated the thoughtful notes around the property. After I retuned from a drive, I found a hand picked flower and a handwritten note, such a sweet touch. Everything was spotless, felt safe, and had what I needed, including a washer/dryer, fireplace, aircon, and cozy robes. Thanks to Paul and team, and to Fran and Mikhala for the clear instructions and warm hospitality. I really enjoyed having some downtime and would love to book again soon!

We loved the privacy at Point of View in Apollo Bay. It felt like our own secluded retreat in nature, with just birdsong and the sound of the ocean around us. Inside, the villa was spotless, comfortable, beautifully styled, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel relaxing and luxurious. My husband and I were taken by the panoramic ocean and rolling hill views from all around the villa, especially through the large windows and from the private deck. It really does live up to its name. We had a spectacular stay and can’t wait to come back. If you’re after a peaceful, romantic getaway with memorable views and top-tier comfort, this is a lovely place to stay.

The views from our quiet, secluded villa were incredible. We spent 5 wonderful nights at Point of View, and although the weather wasn't great, coming back to the cozy wood fire after exploring the beautiful Great Ocean Road was just perfect. Thanks so much. We hope to return one day.
