The staff were especially welcoming, polite, and accommodating, which made our stay more enjoyable. We also appreciated having a pool and sauna. The rooms were spotless, the amenities convenient, and the well-kept space felt private, peaceful, and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere for relaxing. We'd gladly stay again and recommend it.

The beds need replacing, the sides had completely collapsed, though the room itself was spacious and quiet. The shower was clean and nice, and breakfast was good. Having a coffee machine in the room was a bonus. I checked the sheets and they were clean, but there was a used towel and face washer in the bathroom. Reception had asked us to report any problems so they could fix them, which made me worry a bit.

A friend's recommendation paid off. The receptionist gave us such a warm welcome that we felt right at home, and the stay was relaxing and seemed well planned. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. We had a great stay.

The room and reception staff were good, and the rooms were comfortable with great A/C. But the grounds and shared facilities badly need work. The pool was slimy, the sauna was broken, and the spa was empty, with hoses and electrical cords hanging out the windows. Weeds were a foot high in the garden, laundry was piled in hallways, and the picnic grass area was full of burs and long weeds. Driving in, it didn't look like the online pictures. It's sad to see a great hotel run down outside, especially when we paid a high price for a “family friendly” stopover. Hard to give it a 3, but a 2 wouldn't be fair to the good rooms and staff.

The pool and sauna were clean and relaxing, breakfast had gluten free and dairy free options, and we could use the dining room for takeaway dinners. Our room was decent, with a fridge and coffee machine, and staff were friendly. There were several problems at first: cleanliness, a faulty aircon and lock, no toilet paper in the restaurant toilet, and a broken flush. They dealt with these promptly when we mentioned them. Talking with the new owners gave us a sense of what they were dealing with and the condition the motel was handed over in, so I don't really hold these teething issues against them. There’s no lift, which made getting suitcases upstairs difficult. The pillow was too thick, and maintenance and cleanliness generally need improvement.
