The quiet of this little remote town was lovely, and we spent our days exploring the wild coast and hinterland, spotting plenty of native animals, including our first Tasmanian Devil!!! We also took a day cruise up the Arthur River on the George Robinson, which I'd recommend. The Lodge is a well-equipped house in a great spot, with beautiful wide views over the rugged Arthur River coast. We stayed a few days in March and would happily come back.

One night felt far too short in this beautiful house. There was plenty to enjoy even without wifi, and you can feel that the host once lived here. The interior has lots of thoughtful detail, with sunlight pouring through the wide windows. We enjoyed the guitar and saxophone too, and the beach and sunset views speak for themselves. Thanks for being so thoughtful.

Donna really went out of her way to sort out complications with our booking that could have turned into a disaster. We had a lovely, relaxed stay in this convenient beach house, a great base for exploring the region. The lounge and dining area are comfortable, with fabulous views. We even had excellent weather for all four days. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay while exploring the Tarkine region.

You can get to Arthur River's limited facilities with an easy drive or a longer walk, though the house itself is in a quiet spot. It sits right on the Arthur River, with magnificent views through its large windows. Since the Tarkine Drive is too far to do properly in one day, this beach house makes a perfect halfway stop.

The house is lovely, clean, and beautifully decorated, and our host was kind and understanding when we got delayed. My one small gripe is that there aren't any lamps, by the beds or anywhere else. 🤷🏼‍♀️
