Auburn is so peaceful, and Amy's is close to the walking trail as well as an easy walk from the main street. We had a relaxing three-night stay at Amy's house unit 2, with a homely feel and lots of thoughtful details. The staff were lovely, friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The generous breakfast, candles and lovely shower gel were nice touches. There were electric blankets, a fabulous spa bath, and a comfortable bed, which is high on my priority list. We'll be back for another weekend to unwind.

The main issue for us was the breakfast supplies. We booked for five, two adults and three kids, but provisions were only left for four. Someone missed out on an egg and bacon, and we were short one yoghurt and juice box for the kids. The $15 firewood charge also seemed excessive for winter. It should be included in the price, or at least come with a first bit of wood free. The house itself was nice, with spacious, clean rooms and everything needed for cooking. It's in a great part of town, within walking distance of the village and several wineries.

The cottage and its surroundings are lovely, peaceful and beautiful. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The house was set up perfectly for a weekend away, and we'd definitely recommend it. It's on a quiet street with a few other country B&Bs, and has a laid-back feel with families out walking. From there, it's a short stroll over the creek to the main street, and there's a winery at the end of the street.

The owners were fantastic and the customer service was incredible. I'd strongly recommend Amy's for a getaway in this beautiful region. I stayed in the well-kept, clean cottage in the Clare valley when my partner surprised me with a little birthday escape. The location was great too, close enough to walk into town.
