After walking the Cape to Cape and arriving in Augusta from Cape Leeuwin, I was glad I’d chosen this site. It’s right by the estuary, where you can watch pelicans and dolphins, and an easy walk from town and local cafes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the pricing sensible. The grounds were well kept, with good grass at all the pitches. The campsite suits tents, vans and caravans. Toilets and showers were modern, clean and well maintained, much better than you often find at campsites. The enclosed camp kitchen was excellent, clean and well equipped, with plenty of power sockets for chargers and 8 USB-A sockets. The covered BBQs were super clean, with benches beside them, and the kids’ playground was excellent too. Best campsite I think I’ve ever stayed in.

You can pitch your camp and walk into town, or take your bikes. It’s a lovely campsite by the water and under the trees, with clean facilities and very friendly staff.

A leafy park by the river and shared path, but some of the sites are a bit small. The basic cleaning was done, though the corners and tops of the skirting boards were grubby. Hot water was often unavailable even when the park wasn’t full, and the toilet and shower doors were hard to lock or even close. It’s a real shame the dated, inadequate amenities block lets the park down, because otherwise I’d have given it more stars.

A lovely spot by the foreshore for a walk, and a nice chance to run into your neighbors. The location is great.

The location was good, but the no-power camping felt a bit expensive at $50 a night. The site was really cramped, with only about 2m between us and the other campers. Toilets and showers were quite dirty, with mould and grime.
