The pictures of the swimming pool are pretty, but don't be fooled. Poolside bar service was slow, and check-in took ages. I booked two 2 Bd apartments months ahead, with check-in meant to be at 2pm. I waited until 4:40pm before being told the rooms were no longer available. They offered a King room with several rollaway beds instead, which was totally unacceptable. I had to take a taxi back into Darwin CBD and find somewhere else to stay at ADINA Waterfront (excellent!!).

It's an easy walk from the airport, the beds are comfortable, the wifi is good, and the pool is great. We've stayed multiple times for work, though food is overpriced and only average, and the hotel seems to rely mostly on corporate bookings. The last two times, they “accidentally” charged my personal credit card, which was only meant to be held as security. Both charges were refunded after some discussion, but I'll be keeping an eye on my bank statements.

The pool was a big highlight for the children, and we really enjoyed both dinners at the restaurant. Our bedroom suited us perfectly, with two lovely, comfy beds. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of options for everyone. We enjoyed our stay very much.

For a quick one-night staycation, it was a nice, relaxing experience and felt worth the price. The pool was amazing, easily the best part, and just right for unwinding. Dinner and buffet breakfast were both great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room wasn't very clean, which is understandable given its age, but it was okay for a short stay. It's right beside the airport. Free parking is across the road and unshaded, or there's better parking for $20/night.

The reception team arranged a buggy to take us to our room, which made things much easier with young kids, and they helped with our bags too. Assistant Manager Jake and Gede were especially helpful. The shuttle bus driver was professional and helpful, particularly at the airport. We liked the facilities, pool, and rooms, and really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It was a very comfortable, positive stay.
