Balinga Cottages

We spent four nights here and were sorry to leave. It’s peaceful, and the town is an easy walk away, with plenty of other great towns within reach for day trips. The cottage was spotless and comfortable, with jarrah floors and cabinetry, lots of windows, and a veranda looking out over the paddocks to the hills. The owners made us feel at home with their warm welcome and thoughtful touches, including eggs, fresh bread, and a vase of lilac flowers.

The cottage was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed. Lila had the pot belly fire going before we arrived on a cold night, and the homemade bread, marmalade, and fresh eggs were such a lovely touch. We were impressed by the spectacular views and couldn’t fault the place. Chris and Lila were warm and welcoming, and we thought it was fantastic value. We stayed two nights this time and plan to come back for longer with the kids. It’d suit couples or families looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery. 10/10 from us, thanks again! We’ve stayed here twice now, and have already booked both cabins again for next year. This time there were eight of us in the two cabins for four days. The hosts are lovely, the homemade bread is brilliant, and the whole stay is very relaxed.

It was a fantastic stay, and we’re definitely coming back. The cottages are gorgeous, and the owners were so nice, with lots of thoughtful little extras. Being able to bring our horses and ride some beautiful trails made it especially special.
