From the outside it looks great, and the appliances are good. The apartments are a good size for two couples, though the second bed is only a double. The bed was okay, but the pillows were poor and very uncomfortable. The laundry is in the shared bathroom, and the place urgently needs a dishwasher. Inside is good, but not great. It also needs proper paintings or prints. The cheap, tacky Ballarat prints don't do it any favours.

The bedding was fine and the decor alright, and all in all it was a good stay. Still, some doors didn't close properly, though the front door was fine, and there were other little imperfections that should be easy to fix. The cracks near a bathroom power point worried me, and green mossy mould had grown in the cracks around the bath and shower corners.

The price is good, though the furniture could use an update to make it more comfortable. Our stay may have been diminished by an inconsiderate family whose undisciplined children treated the central courtyard like a play space, running, screaming and ripping flowers off the bushes.

It felt homely and comfortable, almost like being at home. The price was good for the location and facilities. Sovereign Hill historical Park is an easy walk away, and the city is two minutes by car.

There was plenty of room for four adults, and the place was very clean and comfortable. The floorboards were squeaky and it was very noisy, though things were okay once everyone settled. Overall, a pleasant stay.
