Lake Wendouree Luxury Apartments

I booked through Airbnb and got a negative review for supposedly leaving banana peel on the table, even though I clearly remember not doing that. You also had the same listing on booking, where guests weren’t asked to clean up. I paid Airbnb’s premium, including a cleaning fee, and was then blamed for not cleaning enough. Ridiculous. By the way, the wifi didn’t work while we were there, but I didn’t leave you a negative review over that trivial issue.

This was my second stay in two months, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. I booked directly with LWLAs, which worked well. Reception was easy to reach and replied quickly when I had questions. The apartments have everything you need for a week, and are clean and well appointed. They’re close to the lake, cafes and supermarket. Booking, check-in, keypad entry, parking and the location were all fantastic.

The apartment was good, well equipped, and the rooms were clean and neat. The location was wonderful, but the parking spot assigned to us was very scruffy and not clean at all. I didn’t feel like leaving the car there. Since that was our first impression, it was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, no complaints.

My 96 year old mum came with us, so having a ground floor, front apartment was fantastic. She managed the step into the shower over the bath, though I was worried about it. We’re planning another stay in May. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a huge selection of appliances and crockery. There was a funny moment when my husband used a small plastic children’s bowl for his cereal. I’m not sure where the crockery bowls were! The leafy street is beautiful, and the lake is very close.
