I didn’t meet any staff or use the spa services, since I arrived after reception closed and was only there for one night. Still, the key collection and checkout details were communicated clearly and made easy. The Richmond Motor Inn was a lovely overnight stop on my drive down the East Coast from Brisbane. My room was spacious and nicely presented, with an ensuite and good kitchen facilities that would have been handy for a longer stay. Parking was easy, with a spot allocated outside my room. It’s well placed for a short walk or run along the coastal path, past North Wall to the Lighthouse. The scenery was beautiful, with empty beaches stretching for miles. There are plenty of local cafes for coffee and food. I’d happily recommend the inn and hope to stay again.

We arrived from Sydney three hours early, and the reception staff were wonderfully accommodating, getting us settled into our room. The room was clean and the service was great. Highly recommend.

Bridgette, who looked after the rooms, was absolutely awesome. The room itself was beautiful and very spacious, and the spa was lovely and well maintained. The pool was a nice temperature and enjoyable to swim in. I’ll definitely return to this motor inn.

We had a great time at richmond motor in. The room was very clean and the spa service was great, but the receptionist was really rude when we checked in. She didn’t show us where the room was. From another reception area, she asked whether we couldn’t read the English on the banner out front, saying it explained everything. If that’s all guests need, why sit in the office? Just leave and let people check in by reading the banner. 😡😡😡

We had the large three-bedroom family room, which was great. The beds were all far too soft, though, and uncomfortable.
