Leni was happiest splashing around in the yabbie dam, and we loved having hiking trails right on the property. The big fenced yard gave her plenty of room, while the cottages are far enough apart to feel private and quiet. We had a lovely two night midweek break, and it’s a genuinely dog friendly place, even letting dogs inside and up on the couch for evening cuddles. We’ll definitely come back.

Hand feeding the parrots was such a lovely experience, and the birdlife all around the place was beautiful. The cottages had everything we needed, with even baked treats for our very spoiled dogs. It was a peaceful family break with our two dachshunds, who had room to run safely in the huge fenced yard. They’re welcome on the couch for evening snuggles, which matters a lot to us. Thanks, Di and Stuart. We’d love to return in the cooler months and get cosy with the fire going.

Di and Stuart were wonderful hosts, and we’re grateful they arranged our transfer to Brae as part of the accommodation package, which made things much easier. The cottage was clean, cosy, fully equipped, and tucked into beautiful bushland. We had a peaceful weekend and didn’t see anyone in the other cottages. We also enjoyed a bush walk and feeding the local Birdlife. We loved our stay and will be back.

The dogs had a great time with all the space and walking tracks. We also enjoyed relaxing in the rustic fenced BBQ area, knowing they were safe. It was a tranquil stay, and the owners were friendly when they greeted us and happy to suggest places to visit.

We felt like we had our own home in the bush. Di and Stu have thought of everything, and the house was comfortable with all the things we could need. The fireplace was ready to go, so all I needed was a match. Our Jack Russell had a secure yard, and we loved walking the track through the stunning bushland. I can’t fault the stay. We’ll come back next time we’re in the area, and I highly recommend countrywide cottages.
