The food was good, and the other staff were professional. But the staff member with the nose ring was extremely rude for no reason, even though it was a quiet time and we were polite. She shouldn’t be serving if that’s how she treats people. That’s why the rating is low.

Breakfast and coffee were nice, but we were questioned about parking while we ate. We pulled into the “empty” carpark at 6am and bought breakfast through the drive through. The man, who I assume was the owner, was extremely rude about it. I won’t be back because of his attitude.

RIP Luna. One of this owner’s dogs, which are always wandering and have been a constant problem in town, attacked my pops’ dog and caused her death. The owner is a terrible man, arrogant, self-centred, irresponsible, and with absolutely no social skills. How dare you.

The restaurant was a real surprise, with the best crispy skin barra. There’s also a handy breakfast takeaway cafe at the front of the pub, alongside the bottle shop. We only stayed one night, so I hadn’t expected much, but the room was clean and comfortable.

It’s hard to find pet friendly motels when you’re travelling, so that’s another plus here. The room was really large, and the aircond was lovely on a very hot day. The food was nice and satisfying too. Staff were extra friendly, 5/5. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
