We left four days early, but management offered no refund, apology or explanation when we raised what had happened. They showed no care or accountability, and their response was as disappointing as the motel’s condition. Food had also disappeared from our fridge while we were out. Since only staff can access the rooms, that was especially disturbing. I never expected to run into something like this in the town where I grew up. The room was filthy, with dirty floors, stained bedding and a strong unpleasant smell. It seemed clear it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. The place felt unhygienic and unsafe, and showed no respect for guests. It’s an embarrassment to the community. Avoid it completely. I’d give zero stars if I could.

The manager and dog were friendly. Our room had a fridge, cold air con, a beautiful shower and comfy beds. In our particular room, though, the TV was broken, the curtains had gaps and there weren't many dishes or much equipment.

At least the location was convenient, and I was glad to have a private bathroom, fridge and wifi. The rest of the stay was hard to recommend. There was no hot water when I showered, and around midnight the smoke alarm, which was hanging out of the ceiling, started chirping. I managed to stop it with some effort. Getting into the room was another problem. After a long day driving, I arrived at about 9 pm for a late check-in. I'd emailed reception twice as requested and called for several days, but no one picked up. On the day, someone finally answered and told me the room number and that the key would be in the room. They said they'd text if anything changed, but I had no reception from then on, including when I arrived. The room they'd assigned was locked. Luckily a staff member was still around after reception had closed and helped me get in. This was a few months ago, and the stay was memorably disappointing.

I paid $250 for one night, and there wasn't even hot water in my room. They also charged me twice, then stopped responding when I tried to reach them. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank as fraud.
