The pool was very cold, and it’s always windy. The rooms were a good size, with a good range of kitchen appliances for basic meals if you want to cook. There weren’t enough bathroom rails for the towels for a family of four, and there was no hand towel rail. It would’ve been good to know in advance that renovations were happening on site, as they were very noisy.

A lovely place in a central spot, right across the road from the beach and just a stone’s throw from eateries. The views were spectacular. The apartments were very spacious, with large balconies and tasteful furnishings. There’s a pool on site and laundry within the dual-key apartment.

We enjoyed our one-night stop on the way back down the coast. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfy, and the bathroom plenty big with good shower pressure. Check-in was friendly and professional. It was a one-minute walk to the water and two minutes to good fish and chips and ice cream. I was travelling with my young fella.

The location is fantastic, across the road from the beach and a two-minute walk to cafes and restaurants. There’s undercover secure parking. The furnishings are very outdated, though, and there’s no WiFi. Our studio was very small, and the TV and phone didn’t work. We paid extra to upgrade to a room with a view and spa, but there was no view, no spa, just a small bath, and the Foxtel didn’t work either. It’s a good budget stay, but improvements are needed to justify the room prices.
