Howard, the owner, is such a lovely guy, and the rest of the humans were fabulous too. Breakfast was a real treat, especially the homemade crosaunts and the best coffee I’ve ever had. They put so much effort into it. The property is beautiful, and the home was comfortable and clean. I left feeling recharged for the rest of our holiday. A definite must-stay.

Breakfast was the highlight, with fresh homemade food and warm croissants brought straight to the table. The room was pristine and felt like home, and everything we needed was provided. The owners responded quickly and access was easy. Glencoe B&B sits in a picturesque, quiet spot that worked perfectly for our Cradle Mountain trip. The gardens and flower beds were beautifully kept, and there were the sweetest highland cows, a dog and chickens. My friend and I loved our stay and would recommend it.

Irene was so lovely and showed us around the farm. We had an amazing stay at Glencoe B&B, and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fruit, cereal and orange juice at the buffet, plus a menu to choose from.

Meeting and feeding the highland cows, watching the hens wander around with their chicks, and spending time in the gardens made our four nights special. The location was a great base for exploring this lovely part of Tasmania. Irene welcomed us and explained everything, and Howard the gorgeous cat came over to say hello. We booked the Red Room after reading all the glowing reviews, and it lived up to our expectations. The room was beautifully presented and comfortable, and breakfast was generous and delicious every morning. We also had a home-cooked dinner on our last night, including one of the best apple pies I’ve tasted. An unforgettable stay. Thank you, Irene and Russ.

We stopped here on the way to Cradle Mountain and were so glad we did. The garden, adorable cows and chickens, lovely room and comfortable bed all made for a beautiful stay. Our hosts were very accommodating, and the home-cooked breakfast was incredibly tasty and filling. They made it entirely vegan for my partner and me after we asked in advance. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
