The room and bathroom were a good size, right by the fairway, and parking outside the motel door was easy. The stay was decent. My only complaints were the dirty windows, which spoiled the view over the course, and the shower area needed a proper clean.

We had a great outlook and the beach was nearby, plus there’s a lovely clubhouse for drinks and food. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Our studio was big enough for two, but it didn’t have any catering facilities beyond making coffee. I’d recommend the stay, though an apartment with cooking facilities could save money on meals out. We booked through Luxury Escapes.

We were so pleased with our weekend booking that we ended up staying an extra night. The room was lovely, large, clean, and had a big comfortable bed. Breakfast was included at the clubhouse, just a short walk away, and everything we ordered there was delicious. Staff were professional and friendly throughout. We can’t wait to return.

The course was stunning, and we played nine holes during our two night stay at 13th Beach Golf Lodges. The lodges had everything set up nicely and looked out over the golf course. Since the restaurant only opens for dinner on Friday and Saturday, they brought a Ninja pizza oven to our deck so we could cook our own pizza. It came with a lovely rocket salad, and there are plenty of good places to eat in Barwon Heads too. Breakfast was included and delicious, including my roasted vegetable Turkish bread sandwich. Donna at reception was so helpful, and Casey was a lovely waitress on our first day. We’d definitely come back.

The place was beautiful and spacious. I was only there for one night, so didn’t get to try the restaurant. It closed at 6 or 6:30, though. Why? 🤔
