The poolside room was gorgeous, and the pool itself was really refreshing. The host is a lovely lady who’s clearly proud of the bungalows, and she’s put a lot of work into them. Our nicely decorated cabin room had a queen-size bed, wardrobe and private ensuite, plus a really nice muesli breakfast with toast and tea. Absolutely the best place to stay when visiting Litchfield, and the best place to stay in Batchelor.

Sue, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, and she provided a nice continental breakfast for our first morning. The place was clean, cute and serene. We had a beautiful three-night stay at rum jungle bungalows. I left two noodles for other guests to use when they go to waterfalls. Many thanks again, Sue.

The location was great and everything was beautifully presented, with a real jungle feel. The bed was too hard for me, and I was cold because there wasn’t much bedding. The AC was supposedly preset for “comfort” and not to be fiddled with. That spoiled what would otherwise have been a great experience.

The host knows Litchfield National Park very well and is happy to explain how to reach the best spots. Each bungalow has a private patio surrounded by a tropical garden.

Quiet and peaceful, and a lovely place to stay when visiting Litchfield National Park. It’s a great base. Just stay there!
