Milton Park Country House Hotel Spa

Dinner was a highlight, with Leanne, Sienna and Allyson looking after us warmly and attentively all evening. Breakfast was just as impressive, with plenty of choice and an à la carte menu as well. Aydin and I stayed at Ardour Milton Park last night, only two weeks after its full transformation and reopening. We were welcomed at reception with fresh juice, warm towels and genuinely friendly, helpful staff. Our suite looked beautiful with its new decor, and we slept so well on the comfortable mattress and pillows. We’re looking forward to coming back when the Wellness Centre opens in a few weeks.

A couple of things could be better: the front doors slam loudly, the windows need a proper wash, the landscaping still feels unfinished rather than a real wow, and our water wasn’t replenished on the second night. We didn’t try dinner, but did look around the new gym and wellness area, which is beautifully done. The staff were warm, polished and attentive throughout, and breakfast was one of the best buffets we’ve had. It wasn’t huge, but the quality produce and thoughtful selection mattered more to us than quantity. We spent two nights at Ardour Milton in Bowral and loved the confident, considered interior design. The bold colours, natural stone and careful details made the property feel special. All in all, a very impressive stay and a lovely addition to Bowral.

We loved the look of the venue, but trying to arrange a wedding tour and get basic information was a really disappointing experience. It took more than a month to hear back about our initial enquiry on wedding packages and a tour. Once we had a date set, they contacted us just two hours beforehand to ask to cancel because of rain. There was no rain when we arrived, so that was confusing. The tour felt unstructured, mostly a walk around the venue, and many important questions couldn’t be answered, including curfew, bump-in access and restrictions on external vendors. Afterward, I emailed to ask for a quote and confirm availability so we could secure our date. Three weeks and several emails and calls later, we still haven’t had a reply. Communication and organisation have been very poor. Based on this, I’d strongly suggest couples consider other venues if this is the service they might receive while planning a wedding.

We had a family birthday lunch at Ardour Milton Park. The fit out is lovely, but the food was very ordinary and the service was really sub-par. The prices are high end, which made the experience all the more disappointing. We like supporting local restaurants and hope they can improve, but right now we’re let down.
