The staff provide excellent service, and housekeeping is first class, with rooms serviced daily. The beds and pillows are comfortable, there’s plenty of space in both the good quality budget rooms and the excellent renovated rooms, and the pricing is cost effective and appropriate. It’s close to the CBD, with a guest laundry. There are two vehicle access points, one off the Highway and an easier one off a quiet side road. There are standard motel ensuite rooms as well as apartment style and BnB facilities. Service pack breakfasts are available for a small additional charge, and there’s more than enough for anyone happy with a regular continental breakfast. Book directly rather than through a platform. There are plenty of accessible power points, which matters to me because I use CPAP and overnight continuous blood oxygen monitoring devices.

Room prices have gone through the roof for the weekend of the football game at Carrington Park. Accommodation in Bathurst nearly triples just because there’s a game on, and that feels excessive and unfair. Events bring visitors to town, but prices like these leave a poor impression on people travelling to support the game and enjoy the weekend. It’s a joke.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of food places nearby. After six days at different motels, we found BMI the best by far: clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We stayed on 28/12/25 and would highly recommend it.

The location is handy for lots of amenities, and the place was clean and nice. Reception was closed for New Year’s, but the room arrangements were communicated effectively, which I appreciated.

I’m shocked and outraged by how their night service behaved. They take your payment and tell you to call when you arrive for access details, then act busy and don’t answer. It feels like a scam, and it’s an appalling way to run a business. I strongly recommend avoiding Bathurst Motor In.
